We were tasked with building the Sasko website. We opted for the CakePHP framework, as the project entailed some unique functionality not easily achieved with an off-the-shelf solution without a substantial amount of tinkering.
We built a bespoke content management system, matched it with the HTML templates we built, and populated the website’s initial content which was supplied by the client.
Numerous CSS tricks were employed to achieve pixel perfection and slick user interaction, many of which wouldn’t be noticed by the average visitor to the site; it would just add to their experience and perception of the brand. One example would be the red label on the right of the homepage slider – when it moves down, the content appears to change colour. This didn’t happen by accident.
